Coverage by Vehicle Type

Rental Type
Travel Trailer

Comprehensive and collision insurance is included with your rental — with a $1,000 deductible. You will need to provide proof of insurance on your tow vehicle before departing.

What to bring: Proof of tow vehicle insurance at pickup. Each driver must be listed on your policy or on a separate binder.
Rental Type
Motorhome

You have two options for insuring a rented motorhome. Choose whichever best fits your situation:

1
Use Your Existing Auto Insurance

If your personal auto insurance covers rental motorhomes for liability and physical damage (comprehensive & collision), provide us with a binder/rider from your insurer. The binder must list the rental vehicle's make, model, year, and VIN, and name our dealership as an additional insured. Each driver requires a separate binder unless jointly listed on the same policy.

2
Purchase Through MBA Insurance

If your auto policy doesn't cover a rented motorhome, you can purchase short-term rental insurance through MBA Insurance. Visit mbamotorhome.com and enter policy number #303762. Follow the step-by-step instructions — once complete, the correct insurance details are sent to us automatically. This coverage carries a $1,000 deductible.

Frequently Asked Insurance Questions

What if I have multiple drivers on the rental?

Each driver must be covered individually. If using your personal auto insurance, each additional driver needs to be listed on the same policy or provide their own separate binder/rider naming our dealership as additional insured. If using MBA Insurance, coverage extends to all drivers registered on the MBA policy.

What does the $1,000 deductible mean for me?

In the event of an accident or damage claim, you are responsible for the first $1,000. Coverage applies above that threshold. We strongly recommend reviewing your policy details before your trip.

Can I add insurance after I pick up the rental?

No. Insurance documentation must be provided and verified before the rental vehicle is released to you. Please arrange your coverage in advance so there are no delays on pickup day.

Where do I find the MBA Insurance form?

Go to www.mbamotorhome.com and enter our policy number #303762 when prompted. Complete the online form and MBA will send the insurance confirmation directly to our rental department — no need to bring paperwork.
