No problem, we handle your bank payoff and all the title work for you.
If I Buy Out of State, How Will I Know Everything On My RV Will Work Properly When I Get Home?
It takes us approximately 4-6 hours to properly prep your new or used RV. We do a “walk through” to demonstrate the use of everything on your unit. We will also give you a 1-2 night stay in our campground, Bell RV Village, that is adjacent to our dealership. This gives you the opportunity to use everything on your coach while you are next to our service department. We want to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase, and have no problems before you leave the area. With new units, we can handle any warranty issues anywhere in the country.
If We Buy From You Will You Deliver To Our House?
Yes, we will gladly deliver anywhere in the United States. Certain fees will apply, but we will do our best to work with you.
If We Buy From Out Of State How Does Tax And Registration Work?
Each state is a little different, but most are reciprocal with Oklahoma. This means that if the state you reside in has a higher tax rate than Oklahoma then you can pay our tax. If your state is lower than Oklahoma then you do not pay Oklahoma tax and pay in your home state. As far as registration works, if you buy from out of state we issue you a 30 day tag. This means you have 30 days to register your RV in your home state.
What Additional Towing Equipment Will I Need?
This depends on the size of your towable RV and the size of your tow vehicle. Typically, with any towable RV you will need a brake controller that will actuate your trailer brakes in conjunction with your vehicle brakes. For a travel trailer, we will probably recommend a weight distribution hitch with a built in sway control. This will level out the tongue weight of the trailer and prevent sway from side-winds, etc. With a fifth wheel, the hitch mounted in the bed of your truck is all you need. Bell Camper Sales has over 40 years experience installing the perfect towing system for your particular needs.
Can My Tow Vehicle Tow The Trailer I Want?
At Bell Camper Sales, we are experts at matching your tow vehicle with an RV. We have tow ratings for most any vehicle on the road, and a variety of trailers in every weight class starting at 2,000 lbs, which can be towed by a lot of crossover SUV's.
Will My Pre-Owned RV Come With A Warranty?
On most pre-owned units we sell, we give a 30 day warranty on the fresh-water, waste-water, and LP gas systems, as well as all appliances. This is a better warranty than you will get from almost any other dealer. An extended warranty can also be purchased on all new units, and most used units. These contracts will cover nearly all the components on your coach.
Can I Use My RV In Freezing Weather?
Some trailers are designed for winter use and some aren't. Typically more expensive trailers are designed for year 'round use. Consult the Service Department at Bell Camper Sales. We can install several devices to adapt a 3-season trailer for use in colder weather.
How Often Should I Have My Wheel Bearings Packed And My Brakes On My Travel Trailer Checked?
You should check your travel trailer brakes and have your wheel bearings packed every 8-10,000 miles - or - after 3 years.
How Important Is It To Maintain The Battery On My Unit?
Very Important! The battery in your RV is the foundation for the entire 12 volt system. Without a good battery, any 12 volt component in your RV can experience intermittent operational problems which can be extremely frustrating. This continuous discharging and charging is very hard on your battery. Be sure the water levels are checked at least monthly and the connections are kept clean and free of corrosion.
